Biography

Dr. Brooke B. Halpern is a board certified Internist who is a graduate of the Mercer University School of Medicine. She completed her Internship and Residency at the Memorial Health University Medical Center, winning numerous awards and serving as Internal Medicine Chief Resident during her final year of training. A graduate of Savannah Country Day School, Dr. Halpern grew up in a medical household and knew at a very young age that she would someday become a doctor herself. In pursuit of that goal, Dr. Halpern graduated Cum Laude from the University of Georgia’s Honors Program with a BS in Biology and a BS in Psychology. In addition to her pre-med work at Georgia, she interned at the Brett Clementz Research Lab and at Ourlife Health. During medical school, she served as a Clinical Research Coordinator for Meridian Research Group in Savannah. Dr. Halpern is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, American Medical Association, and the American College of Physicians. She has hospital privileges at Memorial Health University Medical Center. Dr. Halpern lives in Savannah and enjoys spending time with her husband, Stuart and their son, Bennett.
